This is a process
designed to ensure that the human resource needs of an enterprise
will be constantly and appropriately met.

process
This involves
1) Determination or
analysis of organizational goals
2) Translation of
organizational goals into man power needs. The needs of the various
departments are determined here.
3) Determining the
current stock of human resources in the enterprise .
4) Correction of man
power shortfall or shortage.
5) Implementing the
manpower chosen option.
6) Evaluation of
actions taken by asking the following questions
- Do the employees perform their tasks satisfactorily?
- Are there new needs for human resource arising from operations
- Do all the employees exhibit well the expected skills.
